Appointment Fees
Similar to a visit at a specialty physician’s office, the cost of a visit at the Pfeiffer Treatment Center depends on the complexity of the problem being evaluated. Consistent with this approach, the fee is combination of the evaluation and management service by the practitioner, the laboratory evaluation, the medical decision-making and the time spent developing the individualized treatment program.
For a description of the visit and evaluation, refer to the Appointment Procedures page.
Payment is due at the conclusion of each visit unless prior arrangements have been made with the Guest Care team member. Payment options include:
For telephone services payment is due at time of service. If unable to pay by credit card, arrangements for other payment need to be made prior to the telephone service. We do not participate in any health insurances, health insurance networks, Medicaid, or Medicare; therefore, we cannot accept assignment for insurance. Patients submit a copy of their itemized bill of services rendered at their appointment to their individual insurance carrier for evaluation of benefits. For prospective patients interested in predetermination of benefits with their insurance company, we have prepared an Insurance Information letter to describe the typical fees associated with both an initial and a follow-up evaluation at the Pfeiffer Treatment Center. The Insurance Information letter is meant for insurance predetermination purposes only and actual charges are based on the service provided.
